Services
At Enabling Spaces CIC, we support people whose homes and lives have become difficult to manage — whether through hoarding, self-neglect, squalor, trauma, grief, or the slow build-up of overwhelm over time.
Our work is led by Occupational Therapists, blending emotional understanding with practical, therapeutic support. We focus on the person first — their safety, wellbeing, daily routines, confidence, and the story behind what’s happening at home.
This isn’t standard decluttering or cleaning.
Many of the people we work with have complex needs, long-term patterns, or environments that other services cannot support. We specialise in stepping into these situations gently, respectfully and safely, helping individuals take meaningful steps towards feeling more in control.
Our involvement can be commissioned through local authorities, health and social care teams, housing providers, or accessed privately. If you’re unsure where to begin, we will guide you through the available pathways and help you find the right route for support.
Every journey is unique.
Every home is different.
And every person we work with deserves dignity, choice, compassion, and the chance to move forward at their own pace.

What Our Clients Say About Our Company
Huge thank you
“Good morning, Yvonne, I just wanted to say a huge thank you for your ongoing help and advice regarding my dad’s situation.
We honestly don't know where we would be right now without your support and the services you are providing for both my dad and my family!
I think if i hadn't found you, my dad would have no chance whatsoever of coming back to any kind of home environment.
Yes, we could have found another company to clear his house, but 'cleared' is exactly what would have happened.
You have throughout this process, provided much needed support and advice, and with that i am 100% confident he will be not only be able to come home if physically able to, but he will be coming home to familiarity which is, as you have said is so very important for dementia.
Again, thank you so much for everything, I really can't thank you enough.
I just hope this invaluable service is one day available elsewhere in the UK.”
