Specialist support for hoarding, clutter, self neglect, and chronic disorganisation
At Enabling Spaces CIC, we provide professional, paid support for people living in overwhelmed homes and situations of chronic disorganisation. Our services are Occupational Therapy-led, trauma-informed, and person-centred — designed to meet each person where they are and walk with them towards safety, clarity, and control.
We work with adults, families, and professionals, offering both self-referral and commissioned pathways.
Please note: We are a paid service.
All support is delivered by highly trained staff and clinical specialists. We do not offer a free house clearance service.
Our Core Services
Occupational Therapy Assessments
For individuals affected by hoarding or complex needs — assessing function, risk, capacity, and meaningful goals.
Therapeutic Decluttering
Gentle, trauma-informed support to make sense of belongings, reduce overwhelm, and improve safety and autonomy.
Capacity & Risk Reviews
Independent clinical reviews including capacity assessments for specific decisions and risk planning in high-need cases.
Mobile Hoarding Hub
Our outreach service bringing clinical support and on-the-ground solutions into homes across the region.
Post-Therapy Peer Support Groups
Safe, step-down spaces for clients who’ve completed 1:1 work and want to continue growing alongside others.
Workshops & CPD Training
Training for professionals on trauma-informed hoarding care, neurodiversity, mental capacity, and relational practice.
We Also Support:

- Housing, social care, and safeguarding teams needing guidance
- Carers and family members trying to help a loved one
